Chitwan. KATHMANDU — The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has unveiled the schedule for the second phase of local level elections under its first general convention.

According to the Central Election Commission, the form distribution and registration for the post of party office-bearers will take place from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm today.

Chief of the Election Commission, Bhuwan KC, said that the preliminary list of candidates for the post of office-bearers would be published at 7:30 pm. Similarly, the committee has fixed 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm for scrutiny against candidates against claims and protests, 8:15 pm to 8:15 pm for candidates to withdraw their names.

The publication of the final list of candidates for the post of office-bearers will take place at 8:45 pm and the silence period will be held from 8:45 pm to 9:15 pm and voting will take place from 9:15 pm to 12:15 pm.

The counting of votes will take place from 12:15 am to 1:15 pm and the results will be announced at 1:30 pm.

The closed session of the party’s general convention that kicked off last Sunday is underway at the Chitwan Exhibition Centre of the Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
