KATHMANDU — The results of the election for five office-bearers of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have been made public.TAG_OPEN_p_10 Women vice-presidents, general secretaries and three joint general secretaries have been elected through the election.

Sobita Gautam has been elected as the woman vice-president.TAG_OPEN_p_9 Gautam garnered 789 votes while his rival Toshima Karki garnered 572 votes.

Bipin Kumar Acharya has been elected as the General Secretary.TAG_OPEN_p_8 Acharya received 673 votes.

Asim Shah and Hari Dhakal have been elected as joint general secretaries (open).TAG_OPEN_p_7 Shah received 471 votes while Dhakal got 410 votes.

Likewise, Nisha Dangi has been elected as the woman joint general secretary.TAG_OPEN_p_6 She garnered 737 votes.

With the election of the new leadership, the RSP is expected to further strengthen the organization and take forward the upcoming political program effectively.TAG_OPEN_p_5
