Kathmandu. Five bills are being presented in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.
The meeting also has the agenda of passing the annual report of the Auditor General and the Finance Bill, 2083.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is scheduled to table the 39th annual report of the Auditor General, 2083 in the House on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Minister Gautam will then present the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS in the House.
Similarly, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present the Money Laundering Prevention (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083 while Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal will present the Bill on Cooperatives (first amendment-2083).
Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta is scheduled to table the bill to amend some Nepal Acts related to the Academy of Health Sciences, 2083.
In the meeting, discussions will be held on the Finance Bill-2083 along with the amendments received, amendments will be presented for decision and the Finance Minister will present a proposal seeking passage of the bill.
Likewise, Finance Minister Wagle presented a proposal seeking clause-wise discussion on the Bill to Mobilize National Loans-2083. According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, he will also present a proposal in the House seeking passage of the bill after the amendments received are presented for decision.
