Industry Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav submits 32-point performance report to PM Shah

 

Kathmandu. It has been claimed that the works assigned to the Ministry of Industry under the government’s one00-day governance reform action plan have been completed ahead of time. KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry, Gauri Kumari Yadav, has submitted a detailed report to Prime Minister Balen Shah after successfully completing 32 works under her ministry.

Minister Yadav reached the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and handed over the file containing the details of the completed works to the Prime Minister. According to the one00-day action plan unveiled by the government, the Ministry of Industry has fulfilled its responsibility ahead of the stipulated time, although it will be completed only after a week.

According to the government’s action plan, various policy reforms, industrial environment, effective service delivery, creating investment-friendly environment, efficient industry administration and implementing various programmes in priority of the Ministry were set in the government. The Industry Ministry has said that it has completed all these works before the stipulated time and submitted a report to the Prime Minister.

On the occasion, Minister Yadav said the Ministry was working in a speedy manner to increase people’s trust in the government, institutionalize good governance and establish result-oriented working style. According to him, it has been possible to fulfill the assigned responsibilities on time due to coordination among the ministry’s employees, bodies concerned and stakeholders.

Prime Minister Balen Shah has also been directing all the ministries to complete the announced programmes on time, make the service delivery more effective and deliver results that the people can directly feel. The incident of the Ministry of Industry submitting its performance report ahead of time is also seen as an example of the government’s capacity to implement.

Although the formal period of the government’s 100-day action plan is set to expire on December 20, the Industry Ministry has submitted its report a week before completing its responsibility. Other ministries are also expected to make their work progress public.
