At present, most of the cloudy weather is taking place in Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. The weather is generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is taking place at few places of Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at one or two places of Koshi province.

According to the Division, it will be completely cloudy throughout the country this afternoon. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area. Possibility remains for brief rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in many places of the hilly region and moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of the Tarai region. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of heavy rain in one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces.

Similarly, it will be completely cloudy throughout the country tonight. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high hilly and mountainous area. Possibility remains for brief rain accompanied by thunder and lightning one or two places of the hilly region and at a few places of the Tarai region. Heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Lumbini provinces.
