Kathmandu. Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gauri Kumari Yadav, has submitted a detailed progress report of the major works carried out by the ministry in the first 100 days of the formation of the incumbent government.

According to the ministry, important policy and practical reforms have been carried out in the field of industrial development, easing of supply management, promotion of foreign trade and protection of consumers’ interests during this period.

Presenting the progress report, Minister Yadav said that the Ministry has achieved concrete result-oriented works within 100 days by prioritizing the targets set by the government. According to him, the Ministry has focused its activities to make the country’s economic activities dynamic and to give a sense of good governance to the general public.

The report, submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office, includes amendments to various Acts and Regulations, action plan for the revival of sick industries, national and international trade facilitation and market monitoring.

The Ministry has also expressed commitment to further intensify its activities in the coming days based on the evaluation of the achievements of the government’s hundred days in office.
