Political party members asked to leave Red Cross

. Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) has urged the members of the committee at any level to withdraw from their involvement with the NRCS if they hold positions in various bodies of the political parties (including sister organizations).

In order to ensure that the volunteers and employees involved in NRCS work and behave in accordance with the principles, values and values of the NRCS, Section 72 (3) of the Nepal Red Cross Society Statute 2020 (including 18th amendment 2082) states, “Persons who are actively involved in politics and are in positions of various bodies of political organizations (including sister organizations) and are involved in all levels of governance structures from political parties and holding office bearers and members of any level of NRCS committees,TAG_OPEN_div_14 There shall be no members and office-bearers in the commissions and sub-committees.
