Department of Money Laundering issues 7-day notice to Sher Bahadur Deuba, Arzu’s only son Jaiveer Deuba

. The Department of Money Laundering Investigation (CIAA) has issued a 7-day notice to Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s son Jayabir Deuba to appear before it at the department.

According to sources, the department has directed Jayabir Deuba to appear before the department within seven days, stating that it is necessary to get information on some issues in course of the investigation related to money laundering.TAG_OPEN_p_8

The notice issued

has also been pasted at Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha.

Earlier, the department had summoned Jayabir’s father Sher Bahadur Deuba and mother Arzoo Rana Deuba for clarification and necessary information in the case.TAG_OPEN_p_6

According to the department, the Deuba couple has informed that they will be present at the department by mid-July.TAG_OPEN_p_5 The Department has said that it is in the process of collecting necessary documents and details in connection with the investigation related to money laundering.

The department has not yet officially released further details on the matter.
