Argentina defeated Switzerland to reach the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2018 at the Kansas City Stadium in the United States.

Alexis Mac Allister, Julian Alvarez and Lautaro Martinez scored a goal each for Argentina to reach the semi-finals.

Argentina took the lead in the 10th minute with a header from Alastair. In the 67th minute of the game, Dan Ndoye scored the equalizer for Switzerland.

Switzerland were reduced to 10 men in the 72nd minute. Switzerland were reduced to 10 men after Brael Embolo was sent off for a second yellow card.

The match was pushed to extra time after both teams scored the same goal in the regular 90 minutes. Alvarez scored the first goal of the match in the 112th minute. Martinez scored the second goal of the match in extra time. Argentina will now take on England in the final.
