Kathmandu. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today took various decisions.

The meeting also decided to form a talk team under the coordination of Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Pushkar Sapkota, to address the demands of the citizens affected by the meter interest and to hold talks. The talk team comprises joint-secretaries of the Ministries of Finance, Home Affairs, Land Management and Federal Affairs and General Administration.

Similarly, the government has decided to give permission to Nepal Rastra Bank for minting new design of coins of 1 rupee and 2 rupees and to approve grant assistance of 1.81 million US dollars from the Korean government for the establishment of ‘Nepal Law Information Pilot System’.

Likewise, if additional trees and poles need to be removed in the protected areas, the concerned ministry can give approval after fulfilling the existing legal process, and the organizational structure and posts of various ministries will be approved.

Similarly, the meeting also decided to approve the ‘Policy Research Foundation Development Committee (Formation) First Amendment Ordinance, 2083’ and to approve necessary arrangements related to the management of employees on service contractual basis.
