30,000 metric metric tonnes of DAP fertiliser, which was procured through a global tender, arrived at Kolkata port on July 10.TAG_OPEN_div_6 Out of this, 1,250 metric tonnes was transported to Nepal on July 16. The remaining fertiliser is currently being packaged at Kolkata port.
According to the secretariat of the Minister of Agriculture, Forest and Environment, the fertilizer will gradually enter Nepal after the packaging is completed.TAG_OPEN_div_4 The supply of fertilizer is managed by the Agriculture Inputs Company.
