Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has
said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli should work towards maintaining peace and harmony through dialogue with all three governments.
Talking to media persons after attending an all-party meeting called by Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane today to discuss the Sunsari incident and other issues, he said this while leaving the party.
“Religious tolerance and social harmony have been our long-standing assets and we need to protect them. We have proposed to make a call on the general public to maintain peace and harmony,” President Thapa said. The government is also the guardian of the people. In such a situation, the Prime Minister should work towards maintaining peace and harmony by holding talks with all three governments. ”
He said that the government should play a leading role to maintain peace, order and harmony in the country. During the meeting, Prime Minister Balendra Shah stressed the need for Prime Minister Balendra Shah to play a leadership and guardian role at a time when the country is facing difficulties.
