Kathmandu. Annapurna Rural Municipality of Myagdi has declared a one-day mourning holiday on the demise of renowned mountaineer Nirmal Purja ‘Nims Dai’.

Nims is a local of Dana in Annapurna Rural Municipality-3. The municipality has declared a holiday on Monday.

The rural municipality has decided to give a holiday on Monday to mourn the demise of climbers, said Bharat Kumar Pun, chairperson of the rural municipality.

6 Nepalis including Nims have died while climbing Broad Peak in Pakistan.
