Madhes Province returns to rhythm

Kathmandu. Activity is gradually increasing in the troubled Madhes province. Madhes Province has been in tension since Thursday after the death of Ganesh Yadav in Golbazar, Siraha.

The Madhes province has started returning to normal after a written agreement was reached between Home Minister Sudhan Gurung and the victims’ families last Friday.

The curfew and prohibitory order issued by the local administration in some areas of Dhanusha, Siraha and Saptari has been lifted. Vehicles have been operated at the site and the market has come into operation.

Local Binod Sah said that normal life has returned to normal with the resumption of transport service.

Issuing a notice, the local administration of the concerned districts has urged all sides not to believe in rumours and maintain social harmony.
