Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) will have at least seven members on its board of directors.
The agreement was reached in course of clause-wise discussion on the bill designed to amend the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058 BS in the meeting of the Finance Committee under the House of Representatives.
According to the discussion, the board of directors of the NRB will be seven members and there will be at least one woman director in it. The committee has reached a consensus to include this provision in the bill.
