Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has formed a Quick Response Team (RISP) to ease the supply of LPG cylinders.

The team has formally started its work from today, according to the corporation.

A mechanism comprising representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Nepal Oil Corporation, Department of Industry and LPG entrepreneurs has been formed to resolve the problem seen in gas supply.

The team comprises Mangal Bista from the Ministry of Industry, Indu Shrestha and Upendra Subedi from Nepal Oil Corporation, Aayush Nepal and Kul Prasad Rai from the Gas Industry.

The main objective of the team is to solve the problem of shortage of LPG gas or distribution in any part of the country. Based on the complaints received at the NOC’s hotline, the gas supply will be eased to the consumers by coordinating with the concerned industries, dealers and entrepreneurs.

According to the NOC, the mechanism has been formed to address the problem immediately after complaints of non-availability of cooking gas from various places increased in recent period. The team will address the complaints received during office hours with priority and work to resolve them as soon as possible.

The corporation has stated that the Quick Response Team will immediately take necessary initiatives to resolve the complaints received on the said number.
