Kathmandu. At present, there is the influence of monsoon wind throughout the country. At present, the monsoon low pressure trough is a little north of the normal place near the Tarai region of Nepal.

The weather is generally cloudy throughout the country at present. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, moderate rain is taking place in some parts of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places of Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to the Meteorological Department, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country this afternoon. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, moderate to ÷snowfall is likely to occur at many places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at some places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Similarly, moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible at a few places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at a few places of hilly and ÷terai provinces.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of the hilly and terai regions of Karnali Province and at a few ÷places of the Sudurpaschim Province.

Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of mountainous and hilly regions of Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Koshi Province, Madhes Province and Terai Province and at one or two places of Tarai Province.

Similarly, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. Light rain will occur in some places while light snowfall is predicted in high mountainous area. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible at a few places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces as well as at many places of hilly and terai regions of Madhes province. Light rain or thunder likely to occur at few places of the hilly region of Karnali province and at a few places of Tarai and Sudur Pashchim province. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at one or two places of hilly and terai regions of Lumbini province.
