Karnali. Chief Minister of Karnali Province Mangal Bahadur Shahi has said the cabinet expansion would take place soon.

He further said that the Council of Ministers would be formed as per the three-point agreement reached between the CPN-UML and the Nepali Communist Party.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Shahi said discussions were underway in the province regarding cabinet expansion and they have reached the consensus phase. “The Council of Ministers will get full shape in a few days,” he said. ”

According to him, it will take some time to expand the cabinet as both the parties have to move ahead as per the three-point agreement in all seven provinces. He clarified that although the cabinet expansion took some time, the government works have not stopped.

He was appointed as the Chief Minister on July 26 with the support of the CPN-UML.
