Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has started discussions with the directors of multinational companies that have invested in Nepal.
Minister Wagle has held discussions with the directors of the ministry for some time now.
He is scheduled to hold discussion with 20 big taxpayer multinational companies that have invested in Nepal under the budget implementation discussion series for the fiscal year 2083/84.
In the meeting, high-ranking foreign and domestic partners of these companies have been invited to the ministry.
On the occasion, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle would be asked to put forth their views in writing regarding the facilities provided by the budget to multinational companies, the problems they are facilitating, the expansion of investment in Nepal, employment generation and returns.
Under this series, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has already held discussions with 33 industrial houses that have created jobs in Nepal by running productive industries and have contributed to the national economy. He has also held discussions with CEOs of commercial banks and executive directors of Nepal Rastra Bank.
