Muktinath Bikas Bank earns net profit of one and a half billion, what are the other indicators?

Kathmandu. Muktinath Bikas Bank has published its unaudited financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. According to the financial details released by the bank, the profit of the bank has increased.

In the fiscal year 2082/83, the bank has earned a net profit of Rs 1.51 billion. The profit of the bank increased by 12.44 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous FY. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 1.35 billion in the previous FY.

In the last fiscal year, the bank has been able to increase its net interest income and reduce the impairment charge. As a result, the bank’s net profit has improved.

In the last FY, the bank’s net interest income increased by 3.63 percent to Rs 4.74 crore. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 4.57 billion in the previous fiscal year.

The bank’s net fee and commission income declined by 1.50 percent to Rs 54.98 crore. Similarly, the bank’s total operating income increased by 3.89 percent to Rs 5.39 billion in the review period, while the operating profit increased by 20.23 percent to Rs 2.42 billion.

In the last fiscal year, the bank’s impairment charge has come down from Rs 79.35 crore to Rs 57.23 crore. As of mid-July 2018, the bank has a distributable profit of Rs 67.57 crore and distributable earnings of Rs 8.45 crore.

Despite the increase in profit, the bank’s earnings per share have declined. In the review period, the bank’s income decreased by 18 paise to Rs 18.98. Similarly, the company’s P/E ratio is 19.13 times and net worth per share is Rs 161.82.

The bank has paid-up capital of Rs 8.03 billion and reserve fund of Rs 4.94 billion.

At the end of the previous FY, the bank had disbursed loans of Rs 97.22 billion and by the end of the last FY, it had disbursed Rs 150.88 billion. The company’s debt during the review period was 3. It has increased by 38 percent. The bank’s deposits stood at Rs 5.5 billion in the review period. It has increased by 20 percent to Rs 123.53 billion.
