Kathmandu. A meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament is taking place today. The House of Representatives meeting to be held at Singha Durbar at 1:00 pm is likely to table a proposal seeking consideration on various bills.

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal is scheduled to table the proposal tabled seeking consideration on the Mines and Minerals Bill-2083 BS.

Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minority and Social Security, Sita Badi, will present the ‘Children (First Amendment) Bill-2083’. Likewise, the woman minister will also present a proposal seeking consideration on the Human Trafficking and Trafficking (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083.

Likewise, Minister for Foreign Affairs Sishir Khanal presented a proposal seeking consideration on the Passport (first amendment) Bill-2083 BS.

Similarly, the meeting of the National Assembly will be held at 1:15 pm in Singha Durbar. Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment Gita Chaudhary is scheduled to present a proposal seeking clause-wise discussion on the Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill, 2083 BS at the Legislation Management Committee today. —
