Kathmandu. Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal has said that the floods in Bhotekoshi of Rasuwa district have caused a loss of around Rs 2 trillion.
Minister Lamsal said this while leaving the House of Representatives meeting today. Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Chitwan and other districts have been damaged due to floods this morning.
Due to the floods, 12 hydropower projects in Rasuwa district have been damaged. Some of these projects have already been constructed while some were under construction. Similarly, the Rasuwa Customs Office has been damaged.
The floods have damaged 9 bank branches. At the time of writing this report, 9 concrete bridges have been completely damaged. There has also been a human loss. The details of the damage are being collected.
