Kathmandu. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited has announced to contribute Rs 51 lakh to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.

TAG_OPEN_p_9 The company has expressed deep sorrow over the huge loss of life and property in the riverine areas including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Chitwan due to the massive floods in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa on August 23. The company has expressed condolences over the loss of dozens of lives due to floods and inundations, many people have gone missing and hundreds of families have been displaced.

According to the company, the assistance is expected to help in search and rescue, relief distribution, food management, health treatment and rehabilitation of the flood-affected people.
