Kathmandu. KL Dugar Group has donated food items to the families affected by the devastating floods in Rasuwa area on August 26. KL Dugar Group has immediately handed over two truckloads of food items to the District Coordination Committee office in Bidur for the families affected by the floods in Rasuwa and Nuwakot in the first phase. The materials were handed over in the presence of Homnath Dahal, Administrative Officer of the District Administration Office.

The relief materials included rice, lentils, salt, wheat flour, cooking oil, biscuits, beaten rice, various spices and other essential daily food items for the affected families. The group has provided this assistance with the aim of providing immediate necessary food items to the families who have been affected by the disaster and provide some relief in difficult times. According to the KL Dugar Group, the relief materials have been provided with the aim of easing the daily life of the affected families at a time when even basic necessities like food have become challenging for the affected families in the difficult situation created by the disaster.

Due to the damage to the road network and road problems caused by the rains and floods, the group has said that it will deliver more relief materials to the affected areas in a phased manner. The group has also said that it is part of its social responsibility to provide humanitarian assistance by standing with the affected families in times of crisis.
