Kathmandu. Various organizations associated with BLC Global Holdings have handed over Rs 3.36 crore to the government for relief and reconstruction in the flood-affected areas of Rasuwa.

Norvic International Hospital, BLC Global Logistics, and Nepal Distilleries have provided the financial assistance to the company.

Norvic’s managing director Megha Chaudhary, chairman of Norvic Rajendra Bahadur Singh, CEO Ajay Kumar Mishra and Sharad Tibrewal of Nepal Distilleries met with Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle and handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.

Handing over the cheque, Megha Chaudhary said that more than Rs 30 million has been donated to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund to facilitate the relief and reconstruction works carried out by the government during the time of disaster.

She expressed confidence that the assistance amount would be used effectively for the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction of the flood-affected families. She also said that all the organizations associated with the holdings are committed to cooperate with the government in this difficult situation of disaster.

Meanwhile, BLC Global Holdings expressed its condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Basanta Chaudhary, the founder of Holdings, had announced a donation of Rs 3 crore for the rescue and rehabilitation of the flood-affected people last Saturday. According to the announcement, a total of Rs 3.36 crore has been handed over by the affiliated organizations.
