Kathmandu. Arya Pharma Lab Pvt. Ltd., which has been playing an active role in the relief and rehabilitation of flood-affected families, has collaborated with Chitwan Medical College to expand health services in Nuwakot.

Earlier, the company had donated medical supplies worth Rs 82 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. Continuing this campaign, Arya Pharma Lab is now going to conduct a seven-day community health camp with the aim of providing health services to the flood-affected communities.

According to the collaboration between Arya Pharma Lab and Chitwan Medical College, the health camp will be organized targeting the flood-affected people of Bidur Municipality. The camp will be held at Salochana School in Bidur Municipality-7, Trishuli School in Ward No. 5 and Bhairab Danda in Ward No. 9. The camp will be held at Bhairav Danda, Ward No. 9.

In the camp, health check-up, medical consultation, necessary medicine distribution and testing services of various diseases will be provided free of cost to the locals through specialist doctors. Arrangements will also be made to identify the patients who need further treatment and refer them to the concerned health institutions.

According to Arya Pharma Lab, the program is aimed at providing health services within the community keeping in mind that many affected families are facing financial and practical difficulties in accessing health institutions in the aftermath of the floods.

According to the company, activities ranging from donating medical supplies to conducting health camps in the affected settlements reflect the commitment to stand with the affected families during the difficult time of disaster and support them in their journey of health and recovery.
