Gandaki. Pokhara Metropolitan City has opened up land use classification after the land use classification. About seven lakh plots of land in all 33 wards of the metropolis have been classified.

KMC Mayor Dhanraj Acharya said the details of the land use classification were prepared as per the Land Use Act-2076 BS and Land Use Regulations-2079 BS and sent it to the Land Administration and Survey Office for implementation.

The details of the land use classification have already been published in the local gazette as per the recommendation of the Land Use Council of the Metropolitan City and the decision of the municipal executive.

KMC has already sent a letter to the Land Administration and Survey Office in the district, urging them to forward the implementation process for land administration and survey records, maps and other necessary works as per the prevailing laws based on the details of land use classification.

The metropolis has urged the concerned offices to coordinate in the work related to land administration, plotting, maps and records. Mayor Acharya said that along with land use classification, it will be easier for the citizens in the work of plotting and land transactions.
