Lawmakers urged to hold question-answer session with Kotekoshi flood-affected PM

Kathmandu. The main opposition party has drawn the attention of the Prime Minister to hold questions and answer questions of the lawmakers and to form a parliamentary high-level committee for rescue, relief and reconstruction in the flood-affected areas.

On August 26, the question and answer session was held in the parliament with Prime Minister Balendra Shah but on that day, the question and answer session was affected due to the Kotekoshi floods.

} Leader Angdemba said that he had requested Prime Minister Shah to hold the question and answer program before leaving for the United States of America for the United Nations General Assembly and Speaker Aryal was positive about it. Angdemba stressed that the agreement reached by the ruling party Rastriya Swatantra Party to form a high-level political mechanism to lead the post-flood situation should also be followed.

“We should give a message that the state and all the parties are together in this time of disaster. For this, a high-level political mechanism and parliamentary mechanism should be formed to facilitate the rescue, relief and reconstruction works,” Nembang said, adding, “We will continue to draw the attention of the House and the government on behalf of the opposition. We urge the government to listen.” ”
