Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle and Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar have a meeting.
On the second day of his visit to India, Finance Minister Wagle and Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar met in New Delhi. During the meeting, bilateral cooperation, advancement and prosperity initiatives were discussed under the guise of warm, strong and reliable relations.
According to the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi, Minister Dr. Wagle thanked the Government of India for its support in the rescue and relief work after the recent flash floods in Rasuwa.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to further strengthen the longstanding friendship between Nepal and India, especially in the areas of investment, energy and connectivity.
Earlier, Finance Minister Dr. Wagle held discussions with India’s top diplomat on Friday. On the first day of his visit, he met his Indian counterpart Nirmala Sitharaman. During this time, they discussed bilateral economic interests and cooperation.
