KATHMANDU: Sarbottam Paints Industries has called its fifth annual general meeting to approve the dividend it had announced to distribute to shareholders from the profit of the last financial year.

The company has called its general meeting on October 10 at Hotel Jungle Spa Pvt. Ltd. in Godavari, Attariya, Kailali. The meeting will start at 1 pm.

In the meeting, the company will present a proposal to distribute 10 percent of the current paid-up capital of bonus shares and 0 percent for tax purposes of bonus shares. 5263 percent cash dividend.

The meeting will also endorse a proposal to authorize the Board of Directors to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the company.

The AGM has also proposed to elect four directors, three from promoter group and one from the general public.

For the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution, the company will close the book on Tuesday, September 29. Accordingly, shareholders who have been trading in NEPSE till September 28 will be able to participate in the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.
