Kathmandu. The process of providing daily essentials to those affected by the Bhotekoshi floods continues.

The China Foundation for Rural Development has started distributing relief materials to the flood-hit communities of Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts.

The Foundation team has intensified the distribution of health and nutrition materials to the remote and flood-affected areas of Kalika Rural Municipality of Rasuwa and Bidur Municipality of Nuwakot.

According to the Foundation, addressing the immediate health and nutrition needs of the flood-affected communities is a long one, according to the foundation.

According to the foundation, the distribution of relief materials is underway to provide necessary assistance to the affected families. The team is coordinating to deliver the materials quickly, especially to the settlements most affected by the floods and which are difficult to access.

The foundation has provided food and health materials as well as 449 solar lamps to the people.

Meanwhile, the China Meteorological Administration has been regularly providing information related to climate forecasting to the Nepal government.
