Kathmandu. Dawa Lama, the driver of a public bus set on fire in Tripureshwor of Kathmandu on Monday, is in critical condition.
The 25-year-old Lama suffered 90 per cent burns in the arson. His condition is said to be critical at present.
Lama was rescued from a bus by police and taken to Kirtipur-based Burn Hospital for treatment. He is currently undergoing treatment at Kirtipur Burn Hospital.
According to the hospital, Lama has suffered burns on 90 percent of his body. It is said that the driver (Ba 5 Kha 4274) sat inside the bus and set it on fire when there were no passengers.
