Kathmandu. Machhapuchchhre Bank has called its general meeting

The bank has called the meeting for October 28.

The AGM will propose 3 percent bonus shares and 3 percent cash dividend on the current paid-up capital.

The AGM will present a cash dividend at the rate of 8.25 percent of the unreleased unreleased unsecured preference shares along with the tax to be paid proportionately till the end of the current fiscal year.

The meeting will appoint 3 directors to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the bank, elect 3 directors on behalf of promoter group shareholders and 1 director representing general shareholders on board of directors, appoint Arjun Kumar Gautam as an independent director for a term of 4 years and appoint auditor.

For the purpose of the meeting, the bank will close the book for one day on September 28. The shareholders who remain in power till September 11 will get the dividend fixed by the company. They will be able to participate in the meeting.
