House of Representatives meeting today, four parliamentary committees to meet

Kathmandu. The meeting of the Federal Parliament and the House of Representatives is taking place today. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle will present a proposal in the meeting to be held at 1 pm seeking consideration on the Citizens Investment Trust (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083.

Similarly, a meeting of four different parliamentary committees is being held today. According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the Finance Committee, the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will be meeting.TAG_OPEN_div_19

The Finance Committee meeting to be held at 10 am has the agenda to discuss in principle the ‘Bill to amend and repeal some laws related to finance’. There will be a discussion with the lawmakers who have registered amendment proposals on the bill.

TAG_OPEN_div_15 The meeting of the Health and Information Technology Committee will be held at 10 am. The committee will discuss the draft report of the National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081.

TAG_OPEN_div_13 The meeting of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee is scheduled for 11:15 am. The meeting of the committee will discuss the status of domestic and foreign as well as private and public investment in Nepal, the impact of climate change and its impact on the investment climate, the management of investment summits to be held at the national and regional levels, and the necessary policy and legal reforms to create a suitable investment climate.

The Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee is scheduled to meet at 11:3 TAG_OPEN_div_11 0 a.m. The meeting will discuss the draft library policy with experts.
