Kathmandu. The payment to the health institutions providing services under the health insurance program has been completed till the previous financial year. The Health Insurance Board has paid Rs 99,72,75,284.29 crore for the month of June and the payment process of health insurance for the previous financial year has been completed.

Minister for Health and Food and Hygiene Nisha Mehta said that the government has been giving high priority to the payment of health insurance. He said that the completion of the payment till the last fiscal year has been a significant progress towards making the health insurance program more systematic and effective.

Minister Mehta said that the government is prioritizing health insurance as an important program related to people’s access to health care and financial security. Stating that the completion of the payment obligation up to the last fiscal year was a matter of happiness for the health insurance program, he expressed his commitment to make the system of timely payment to the health institutions providing the service more systematic.

According to the Health Insurance Board, with the payment of the month of June, the obligation to pay the health institutions providing the service till the previous financial year has been completed. According to the Board, priority has been given to make the claim management and payment process regular and systematic to make the health insurance program more effective.
