Kathmandu. On the occasion of World Investors Week 2026, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) in collaboration with the Stock Brokers Association of Nepal (SECA) has organized morning rally in 3 major cities.

On the first day of the World Investors Week, a morning rally was organized simultaneously in Pokhara, Biratnagar and Surkhet today. The program was aimed at raising awareness about the capital market, investment and investors’ rights and interests.

Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal Dr. Gopal Prasad Bhatta was also present on the occasion.

About 600 people attended the program.

Similarly, around 350 people including Executive Director of the Board Binay Dev Acharya participated in Biratnagar.

Around 400 people including Executive Director of the Board Muktinath Shrestha had attended Surkhet.

The morning rally was attended by officials of Securities Board of Nepal, securities brokers, merchant bankers, representatives of banks and financial institutions, investors and various stakeholders related to the capital market.

The morning rally organized on the occasion of the World Investors Week is expected to enhance general public’s understanding of capital market as well as contribute in developing a culture of conscious and responsible investment while investing.

World Investors Week is being celebrated for a week from October 19 to 25. During the week, training programs, elocution competitions, and presentation competitions related to capital markets have been organized in different parts of the country with the objective of increasing capital market literacy and increasing investor awareness.
