Route permit opens from Ghatasthapana to Purnima across Nepal

Kathmandu. Route permits will be opened across Nepal from Ghatasthapana to Purnima to make the smooth movement of passengers during Dashain systematic.

A meeting of Nepal Police, Traffic Police, National Federation of Transport Entrepreneurs and other stakeholders held at the Department of Transport Management on Monday decided to open route permits throughout the country.TAG_OPEN_div_23

The meeting also decided to open ticket booking in advance for the Dashain festival from October 7, said Punya Prasad Sitaula, central president of the Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs.TAG_OPEN_div_21

According to him, considering the condition of the road, passenger vehicles will be given first priority during the operation of vehicles. Only then will other vehicles be given priority.TAG_OPEN_div_19

According to the Department TAG_OPEN_div_17 of Transport Management, necessary preparations have been made by coordinating with the stakeholders to make the transport management effective as a large number of passengers go to their respective villages from the capital and urban areas during the Dashain festival.

Director General of the Department of Transport Management, Rajiv Pokharel, said preparations have been made for advance ticket booking and transport management so that passengers do not face unnecessary problems during Dashain and to reach their destinations safely.TAG_OPEN_div_15

According to the department, special attention will be given to transport operation, ticket management, road condition and passenger safety in view of the pressure of passengers during Dashain.TAG_OPEN_div_13
