Kathmandu. Police have arrested a consultancy operator for allegedly sending him to South Korea for two years.
A woman had demanded action against the Prime Minister and the Home Minister through the social media TikTok, alleging that she had been left in limbo for a long time to send her son to Korea. After the video went viral, the police started investigating the incident.
During the investigation, the police have arrested Ganesh Pandey, the proprietor of New Safal Global Consultancy. Police arrested 28-year-old Pandey, a permanent resident of Belkotgadhi Municipality-11 in Nuwakot and currently living at Samakhusi in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26, from Ranibari Chowk on October 4.
According to the police, necessary investigation is underway against Pandey for the offence of cheating. Investigations are underway into the involvement of more people in the case and the money taken from the victim.
