Humla. Harka Sampang, president of the Labour and Culture Party, said that the citizens of remote areas should get equal facilities and facilities.
He participated in the program organized in Adanchuli and Sarkegad rural municipalities. During this, he said, “Due to the unequal distribution of services and facilities provided by the state, basic services and facilities including education, health, transport are concentrated in the cities. Due to this, the number of people living in rural areas is decreasing.” He said that if the necessary services and facilities are provided to the citizens in all areas, then people can live anywhere.
On the occasion, he pledged to end the compulsion to cross the river through tuins.
It is said that MP Sampang’s visit here is related to the construction of a suspension bridge over the Karnali River at Khadikhet of Sarkegad Rural Municipality-2. He expressed his commitment to construct a suspension bridge after the news of the local people being compelled to cross the river with the help of tuins by taking risk in the area was made public.
For the construction of a suspension bridge at that place, the process of starting the work of an NGO called Kaduri has been decided. In such a situation, the real status of the construction of the bridge, the time of start of the work and when the compulsion of the locals to cross the river through tuins will end.
People in the remote mountainous district of Humla have been facing various problems for lack of roads, bridges and basic services for years.
