Kathmandu. Airport Air Passenger Passenger Service Management Limited has provided transportation services to more than 13 lakh domestic and foreign tourists and passengers annually.

The company has been providing airlift service from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to foreign tourists and air passengers visiting Nepal.

Purushottam Simkhada, president of the company, said that the company has been providing day and night transportation service in an easy and safe manner targeting domestic and foreign tourists and air passengers.

He said that it has been providing service to more than four thousand passengers daily. At present, the company has been providing transportation services to tourists through 208 tourist vehicles.

Tourist transport service has played an important role in the development and promotion of Nepal’s tourism sector. Simkhada said that providing systematic transportation service to the tourists disembarking at Tribhuvan International Airport will help make their stay in Nepal more comfortable and pleasant.

He said that the Company has been continuously working to make the transportation service more systematic, safe and effective with the increasing number of tourists.

He said that entrepreneurs have been facing more problems in recent days as vehicles with private number plates are carrying people on rent illegally.

The company, established in 2067 BS, has been providing employment to more than 450 self-employed drivers and employees.
