Kathmandu: Outdoor Coffee has joined the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2026 as its official coffee partner. Under the partnership, Outdoor Coffee will provide coffee services at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground throughout the tournament, allowing cricket fans to enjoy freshly prepared coffee while experiencing the excitement of live matches.

Outdoor Coffee was established with the vision of introducing Nepal’s rich coffee heritage to the global market. Inspired by Nepal’s natural landscapes and the farmers who cultivate its land, the company aims to deliver coffee experiences that go beyond taste.

According to the company, Outdoor Coffee works closely with local farmers across Nepal, including coffee-growing regions such as Gulmi, Palpa, Syangja and Kaski, to source ethically produced, single-origin coffee beans. Its roasting process focuses on precision and consistency, while trained baristas work to deliver a smooth, balanced and memorable coffee experience.

The company also emphasizes sustainability and community engagement. Its approach includes eco-conscious packaging, sustainable business practices and partnerships designed to support local communities and coffee producers.

The third edition of the Nepal Premier League, Nepal’s premier domestic franchise cricket tournament, begins today at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground. The opening match will see defending champions Lumbini Lions take on Sudurpaschim Royals, who reached the final in both previous editions. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is organizing the tournament for the third consecutive year.

This year’s NPL is expected to attract greater attention with International Cricket Council (ICC) recognition, the participation of prominent international players and the introduction of the Decision Review System (DRS). These developments mark a significant step in the tournament’s evolution, enhancing its competitive profile and overall viewing experience.

Outdoor Coffee’s partnership with the NPL brings together Nepal’s growing cricket culture and its distinctive coffee heritage. By serving spectators directly at the venue, the company aims to introduce more people to locally sourced Nepali coffee while strengthening its brand presence through one of the country’s major sporting events.

The partnership also provides an opportunity to promote Nepal’s domestic coffee industry to a wider audience, connecting local agricultural producers, consumers and sports enthusiasts through a shared experience.
