Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a new Rs 100 new banknote with the map of Nepal from today.
According to the central bank, the bank’s banknotes of Rs 100 denomination have been issued in the same size and color as before, from 20000001 to 40999999 with the promise that they will get Rs 100 from Nepal Rastra Bank immediately if they come to ask for payment of the money guaranteed by the Government of Nepal.
Out of the currency notes in circulation, only Rs 100 denominations denote the map of the country. The old map has been replaced with a new one.
