Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) to process Rs 40 billion from the market to manage liquidity

Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released Rs 40 billion from the market for liquidity management. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is issuing bidding for 35 days.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has sought proposals from banks and financial institutions (BFIs) for the same. The bidding will be held online at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) will pay the principal and interest on January 3. The NRB has already withdrawn Rs 420 billion through the deposit collection instrument which is yet to mature.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has mopped up Rs 425 billion through short-term deposits (SDF).
