Kathmandu. The stock market closed higher on Wednesday, the last trading day of 2025. On Wednesday, the NEPSE index increased by 10.53 points to close at 2,633.76 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 1.42 points, while the Float Index has increased by 0.73 points and the Sensitive Float Index has increased by 0.43 points. Shares worth Rs 5.13 billion were traded on Wednesday. Shares worth Rs 4.77 billion were traded on Monday.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of all sub-groups increased on Wednesday. The production and processing sub-group index increased by 1.61 percent today. Today, the shares of 2 companies have increased at positive circuit levels. Share prices of SY Panel Nepal Ltd and Nyadi Hydropower Company Ltd increased by 10 percent each. Similarly, the share price of Pure Energy Company rose by 6.47 percent on the day.

Shares of Win Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd fell by 10 percent on the day. The company’s share price has been steadily falling in the last few days. On the basis of transaction amount, Green Ventures Company is in the top position today. Shares worth Rs 17.79 crore were traded today. Shares of Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Ltd. worth Rs 15.88 crore were traded today.
