Banijya Bank to auction collateral of 12 companies including Kalika Rice Mill if loan failure to repay loan within 35 days

. KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has issued a 35-day notice to 12 companies failing to repay loans on time. The bank is preparing to auction the collateral of 12 companies and firms if the loan is not repaid within the notice period.

According to the bank, the last opportunity was given through a public notice after the loan was not regularized despite repeated contacts and reminders from these companies.TAG_OPEN_div_54

The companies that failed to repay the loan on time are Kalika Rice Mill of Nawalparasi, Kalika Agro Village Hupsekot Pvt Ltd of Hupsekot Rural Municipality and Manju Hardware Suppliers of Devchuli Municipality.TAG_OPEN_div_52 Likewise, Shankar Metal Grill Workshop in Ramechhap Municipality, SNS Glass House in Beni area of Myagdi and Bikash Construction Service are among the other establishments.

Similarly, Bibek General Stores and Order Suppliers of Manma Municipality of Kalikot, Raj Sound and Vision of Hile of Dhankuta and New Ase Decoration House of Abukhaireni of Tanahun have also failed to repay their loans on time.TAG_OPEN_div_50

Similarly, Kaji Thapa Construction Service and Construction Suppliers Pvt Ltd of Thakre Rural Municipality of Dhading, Janaki Agriculture and Livestock Farm of Brahmapuri Rural Municipality of Sarlahi and Bhujel Agriculture and Sheep and Goat Farm of Pokhara Metropolitan City of Kaski have also not repaid loans on time.TAG_OPEN_div_48

The bank has requested to repay or regularize the loan within 35 days from the date of publication of the notice.TAG_OPEN_div_46 If the loan is not managed within the stipulated period, the bank has stated that the name of the company and its directors will be included in the blacklist as a final warning and the auction process of the collateral will be forwarded ।
