RPP candidate Parajuli assures IPPAN that he will raise energy sector issues in parliament

Kathmandu. Bharat Parajuli, who is contesting for the House of Representatives election from Sindhupalchowk-1, has assured to raise the issues of the energy sector in the parliament. Bharat Parajuli, a member of the working committee of the Independent Power Producers’ Association (IPPAN) and a candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has filed his candidacy for the House of Representatives election TAG_OPEN_span_10 TAG_CLOSE_span_11 from Sindhupalchowk-1 in order to raise the problems of the energy sector in the parliament.TAG_OPEN_span_11 

Speaking at a tea reception organized by IPPAN on Tuesday, Parajuli expressed his concern that the potential of energy sector, which is the main basis for Nepal’s prosperity, would be limited due to increasing challenges. He reminded that 40,000 jobs were affected and 500 MW electricity was wasted due to power cuts in 13 big industries.

“I have joined politics to create an environment for operating not only 13 million industries but also to create employment opportunities for hundreds of thousands of Nepalis in the country,” Parajuli said. I have come to the field not only to clean up the dirty leaders within the party, but also to reform the energy sector. ”

IPPAN Chairman Ganesh Karki said that it is necessary for more people who understand the energy sector to reach the parliament to solve the problems of energy entrepreneurs and made it clear that they would give moral support to Parajuli’s candidacy.

IPPAN senior vice-president Mohan Kumar Dangi said, “We will support the people who are knowledgeable in the energy sector no matter which party is contesting the election.” It is time for all political parties to put the energy sector in their main agenda. ”

IPPAN General Secretary Balaram Khatiwada said that there would be moral support from the energy entrepreneurs to ensure the victory of the representatives who understand the energy sector in the parliament after the upcoming elections.
