Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. On Sunday, the NEPSE index decreased by 27.59 points to close at 2,614.55 points. Likewise, the sensitive float index decreased by 3.27 points, while the float index decreased by 1.66 points and the sensitive float index decreased by 1.16 points.
Along with the stock market, the trading volume has also decreased. Shares worth Rs 8.36 billion were traded in the market on the previous trading day, which was Rs 6.69 billion today.
All the 13 sub-indices of the 13 sub-groups traded lower on Sunday. Among them, the trade sub-group index decreased the most by 3.59 percent.
Shares of Salpa Development Bank Ltd. were traded at a positive circuit level today. The bank’s share price rose by Rs 36.30 to Rs 399.30 on the day. Similarly, the share price of Reliance Spinning Mills has increased by more than 9 percent. Shares of Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Ltd (BLPCL) have fallen the most on the day. The company’s share price fell 8.92 percent.
Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company Ltd is in the top position on the basis of turnover today. Today, shares worth Rs 63.42 crore were traded. Similarly, shares worth more than Rs 37.5 crore were traded today.
