Kathmandu. Both the stock market and the trading volume increased on Thursday. On Thursday, the NEPSE index increased by 48.71 points to close at 2,851.24 points.
Similarly, the transaction amount has also increased today. Shares worth Rs 9.91 billion were traded in the market today compared to Rs 8.31 billion on Wednesday.
The indices of all 13 sub-groups have increased today. Today, the index of other sub-groups increased the most by 3.43 percent. The sub-indices of hotel and tourism, hydropower and production and processing sub-groups increased by more than 2 percent while the sub-indices of banking, finance, investment, microfinance and non-life insurance sub-groups increased by more than 1 percent.
Shares of 8 companies were traded at positive circuit levels today. Shares of Aatma Nirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Reliance Spinning Mills, Bhujung Hydropower, Ridge Line Energy, Solu Hydropower, Hotel Forest Inn, Super Khudi Hydropower and Suryakunda Hydro Electric were traded in the positive circuit level today.
Likewise, on the basis of turnover, National Hydropower Company Ltd is in the top position on the day. Shares worth Rs 43.47 crore were traded today. Similarly, shares of Reedy Power Company worth Rs 41 crore were traded today while shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Company worth Rs 40 crore were traded.
