The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has projected that Nepal’s economy will grow at 2.7 percent in fiscal year 2026. Nepal’s economic growth rate was 4.6 percent in 2025. This year will be less than last year.
According to the ADB, Nepal’s economic growth is likely to be slowed down due to the Zenji agitation of September 23 and 24, the huge damage caused by it and the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The World Bank has projected that Nepal’s economic growth will be 2.3 percent.
