Born in 1977 in Ambala, Haryana, Siddhartha Sharma comes from the Indian political elite. His father, Binod, was an influential politician associated with the Indian National Congress.

The family’s business group, Piccadilly Agro Industries Ltd., spanned from sugar mills to breweries and media houses.

Growing up in an environment surrounded by this privilege, Sharma grew up living with the psychology that power and access are everything.

After Indri topped the global ratings rankings for the second year, demand soared in markets such as the US, UK and Australia.

The group also plans to invest in breweries overseas, some of which are mired in political controversy.

Sharma is currently active in the expansion plans of the Piccadilly Group based in Haryana and Delhi region.
